Women over fity are growing in numbers and will be an emerging force in so many things. We are taking care of our parents and many, our children. I don’t know how we all do it. A resource such as this makes it easier. All of us think about money, health, our families and retirement. We need to use all of our sources to make these the best years of our lives.

Fortunately, there is a tremendous amount of information sharing on the internet and beyond on issues affecting women over fifty that is providing a safety net for so many. Thanks for stopping by and for sharing your thoughts.

    Hi Dorothy,
Although I am not a boomer, I hope you don’t mind me stopping by your Blog. It is so wonderful to connect to women that are paving the way for my generation. My film The Red Suitcase was written as a tribute to my mom and to women in their late 60′s and over who in my opinion began a movement for all of us in the 50′s and early 60′s. My mom was a working girl on Wall Street as were many of her friends. They began a dialogue that continued and morphed into an unstoppable movement.
There is such a beautiful passing down if you will from one generation to the next. And I so feel that boomer women like you and like your followers are really blazing the trail for women like myself in their 30′s and 40′s. I will speak for all of us when I say Thank you for your courage and humor and honesty. It is very much appreciated!!!
We must stick together!!! and support each other’s growth!
    warm regards
