If you are like me, you could use a little help from an organizing genius with a heart! Nancy Lundy is just such a person. Married for twenty years, she is the mother of a twenty year old daughter and sixteen year old son. As her children began to chart their own course in life, Nancy set out to re-shape her own life and in the process began helping others do the same. A whiz at multi-tasking, Nancy worked for many years as a corporate event planner prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom. Once they were well in to their school years and financial pressures mounted, she took on a job as an administrative assistant at a local school, where she still works. When her daughter went off to college she realized she had time and energy to spare and wanted to do something more. Her first step was to become a certified Life Coach. She wanted to help other people and it seemed the logical choice. She quickly realized that her gift for organization and time management were not something that everyone had. Combined with her work experience she found she was uniquely qualified to help women who too often [...]

Source: charitymoore.tumblr.com via Aging Abudantly/ on Pinterest I think we pretty much all are in agreement by the time we reach fifty and sixty: Life is not a simple thing! In fact, in many ways, it just becomes more complex the older we get. The good news is that we now have a rich arsenal of experience upon which to draw as we face each new challenge. We are better equipped to find the meaning and purpose in our day-to-day existence and we finally have the mental and emotional time and freedom to do so. This chapter in our lives is a work in progress, just like every chapter that has gone before. We think about things, struggle with things, grow and change, evaluate and discard and it’s all good. Here are a few of the things I’ve been thinking about. I always enjoy your thoughts and value your feedback. Sharing the journey makes it richer for all of us. From my blog: The Life of the Creative What Do You Long For? Childhood Memories & a Naturopath Zen and the Art of Aging On Huffington Post/Huff50: Keeping Up Appearances: Who Would we be if we Quit Talking [...]

The job of keeping up with our social media tasks can quickly get out of hand and become all consuming. We need to remind ourselves on a regular basis that social media is a tool, not the master! I always suggest to my clients that they start small and build gradually. When we build our following too fast and too precariously it is easy for our communications to slip and become depersonalized. When marketing yourself or your product to the fifty-something female audience there are only three things to remember: Be real Be real Be real I guess that’s only one!! Wherever you post, whether it is Facebook, Twitter, G+, Pinterest choose what you post carefully and do your best to know your followers personally when possible and aim your posts at what they want. Social media is a fast and furious, and I must add fickle, environment in which to work, but it is an invaluable source of clients and connections. It is a feast that must be approached in a health conscious manner! One of the first things you can do to simplify the process is to choose one place to post and then add an app that [...]
